Double breasted suits would probably be our slowest selling style – the main reason would be that it is not the “height of fashion” at the moment in Australia.
However, many across Europe (myself included) think otherwise. Double breasted suits are increasingly returning in popularity around the globe and are slowly increasing in popularity here in Australia.
I wear my double-breasted jacket on the shorter side rather than a classic length, I feel it helps with proportion for my shorter than average height.
The double-breasted jacket in most cases is made with a peaked lapel and pockets can straight or slanted with flaps. If you prefer a more casual double-breasted suit (often made in fine cotton) then patched pockets would be suitable.
